Fergie entrou em carreira solo com o lançamento do disco The Dutchess em 2006. O álbum vendeu 7,5 milhões de cópias no mundo e todos os singles lançados estiveram entre as cinco primeiras posições da Billboard Hot 100. London Bridge, Glamorous e Big Girls Don't Cry chegaram, respectivamente, ao primeiro lugar. Enquanto Fergalicious chegou até a segunda colocação e Clumsy alcançou a quinta. Mas os bons resultados não ficaram restritos às paradas musicais americanas, os “hits” do primeiro álbum de Fergie alcançaram o topo de várias paradas musicais pelo mundo. A cantora planeja lançar um segundo álbum solo em 2012.^[5]
will.I.am lançou um álbum em 2007, foi intitulado Songs About Girls e teve três singles: I Got It From My Mama, Heartbreaker, e One More Chance. O álbum não obteve bons resultados tanto nas vendas quanto nas paradas musicais. Em carreia solo o rapper já produziu para vários artistas, incluindo Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Usher, Cheryl Cole, U2, Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears, e outros.
Ap.de.Ap está produzindo um albúm solo com a ajuda dos outros membros do Black Eyed Peas. Até agora já lançou três singles: Take Me To The Philipines, Mama Filipina e U Can Dream; este último contém o nome do próprio albúm.
Taboo também está planejando um albúm solo honônimo, mas até agora só há um single: You Girl.

The Black Eyed Peas é um grupo de hip hop, R&B e de música eletrônica, formado em Los Angeles, Califórnia em 1995. O grupo é composto por Will.I.Am, Apl.de.ap, Taboo, e Fergie. Desde seu terceiro álbum Elephunk em 2003, o grupo vendeu mais de 29 milhões de álbuns e 41 milhões de singles.^[1]

Seu primeiro hit número um no mundo foi "Where Is the Love?" em 2003. Outro single que chegou ao número um nas paradas européias, foi "Shut Up". O álbum seguinte do grupo, Monkey Business foi outro sucesso, certificado "4x Platina" nos Estados Unidos, com singles como "My Humps", "Don't Phunk With My Heart" e "Pump it".
Em 2009, o grupo se tornou um dos 11 artistas à colocar singles em primeiro e segundo lugar, simultaneamente, na Billboard Hot 100, com seus singles "Boom Boom Pow" e "I Gotta Feeling", o próximo single "Meet Me Halfway" alcançou um sucesso similar, a partir do álbum The E.N.D, estes três singles também liderou as paradas por 30 semanas consecutivas em 2009. O álbum mais tarde conseguiu mais uma vez a primeira posição da Hot 100 com "Imma Be", tornando o grupo um dos poucos à colocar três singles número um no chart do mesmo álbum antes de ser seguido com "Rock That Body", que conseguiu pico no Top 10 da Hot 100."I Gotta Feeling" tornou-se o primeiro single a vender mais de 1 milhão de downloads no Reino Unido.^[2]

Em novembro de 2010, eles lançaram seu álbum The Beginning. O primeiro single do álbum foi "The Time (Dirty Bit)".A canção liderou as paradas em diversos países. Em fevereiro de 2011, o grupo se apresentou no Super Bowl XLV. O segundo single do álbum foi " Just Can't Get Enough" e foi lançado em fevereiro de 2011. O vídeo foi filmado no Japão uma semana antes do terremoto de 2011. A canção foi dedicada a amigos japoneses. O terceiro single, "Don't Stop the Party" foi lançado em maio de 2011. O vídeo deste single foi filmado no Brasil, com cenas da The END World Tour no país e da vinda de Will.i.am no carnaval do Rio de Janeiro em 2011.
